Shipping, Payment and Account Questions
How much is shipping/postage?
Shipping or postage prices are dependent on the weight of your order, and therefore vary with each and every order. They will also vary depending on your location. The simplest and fastest way to get a shipping or postage quote is to sign up in our store, add the items you want to your cart and then proceed into checkout. The shipping page is the first page of checkout and you are under no obligation to buy at that stage of checkout. If you contact us to request a shipping or postage quote, any prices given will only be estimates and you are always best to sign into our store and get a shipping price based on the exact contents of your order and your location.
I wish to open a wholesale account with MDF Magic. What should I do?
All wholesale account enquiries should be sent to us using the Wholesale Enquiries form. This has important information that we need before we can process your request.
I didnt receive my activation email. What should I do?
The first step is to check you spam or junk mail folder. Our activation emails are often found in the spam or junk mail folders, especially for hotmail, yahoo, live and gmail email accounts. If you cant find it there, send us an email and we will manually activate your account for you and notify you when we have activated it. Please do not create a second account as this is usually not necessary!
I selected Bank Deposit as the payment method for my order. How do I pay for my order?
Bank Deposit payments will need to be made manually using your Internet Banking service. All the details that you need to pay for your order are available in the Order Confirmation email you received when you placed your order.
What are MDF Magics payment options?
We currently accept the following payment methods:
PayPal - Automated during checkout
Bank Deposit - Details given during checkout and on order confirmation email
Money Order - Details given during checkout and on order confirmation email
What shipping options are available?
We use Australia Post, both standard and registered post and also Courier (For orders under 5Kg). The Courier service is highly recommended as it is more reliable and much faster.

When will my order be delivered?
Delivery times vary considerably depending on the contents of your order. If your order has multiple thicknesses, then it will generally take a little longer than an order with only a single thickness. Note that all orders are usually delivered well within the time quoted during checkout.
When will my order be manufactured?
We will not begin manufacture of your order until your payment has cleared and we work through all the orders placed before your order. Depending on our current demand, that may vary from the same day to 4 or 5 days.
Product Related Questions
I would like a price on a product. Should I email you for a price?
We recommend looking on our site at the product that you are after the price on. Every product on our site has a price listed in the listing for that particular product.
Emailing us for a price could mean that you may wait several days (Sometimes longer) for your price, whereas looking on our site will give you a price instantly. Please avoid emailing us for prices for products which are on our site.
I am after free standing words. What thickness words do you suggest?
For free standing words, we generally recommend 18mm thick MDF words. 18mm thick words are fairly stable up to 18cm high. 20cm high free standing words are not quite as stable as the smaller sizes and we would recommend getting 20cm high words only for placing on a mantle or shelf. They may fall over if they are on a table and the table gets knocked.
I dont see the word I want listed. Can you make the word I am after?
All the words and names displayed on our site are sample words. These are designed to give you some idea of the general feel of the font. We can make virtually any word, with the main exceptions being some symbols (In some fonts) and some international characters.
How accurate is the Check Words feature on your site?
The Check Words feature should be used as a guide only. In some cases, it may be out by a few cms. If you need to know the exact length of a particular word, please contact us and ensure that you include all the details such as the font, height and the word you are enquiring about. We will let you know the exact length when we get a chance.
I have viewed the word I need using the Check Words feature but some letters do not join. Is this right?
The images displayed when using the Check Words feature are an approximation of how your word will look. The letters will all be joined when you receive your word. We use modified versions of the fonts to join any un-joined letters.
I am after one of your shapes but the size and thickness I require is not listed. What should I do?
Please contact us and provide as much details as possible such as the shape, the size and the thickness you require. We will then list the product for you as soon as practical. This can take up to 24 hours to get done.
How can I request a product that I wish to be exclusive to myself?
Please contact us and provide as much details as possible such as the shape, the size and the thickness you require. We will then let you know what other details we need. In the case of custom shapes, you will need to provide some clipart of the shape you need. This can be done when we respond to your request. Note that we cannot create products from photographs and we do not and will not copy or dupicate another manufacturers products.
I would like my own custom tree design. What should I do?
To get your own custom designed tree, you will need to send through an image (Not photograph) of the tree design that you want to have. We will also need to know what size, thickness and base style of tree you wish to create. We will then evaluate your design and notify you of the cost of the tree. Once the design is finalised, we will then list your tree for you in our Custom Orders section. Note that this process can take several weeks to complete. The time taken will vary depending on the quality of the image you intially provide to us.
